How much forklift technical terms you know about?
Forklift is a kind of industrial moving vehicle. It is a kind of wheeled transportation vehicle for loading and unloading pallets, stacking and short distance transportation. It is widely used in ports, stations, airports and so on. The international organization for Standardization (ISO/TC110) is called industrial vehicles. Often used for storage of large items of transportation, usually using a fuel engine or battery power.
The most common performance technical sheet: Forklift’s technical sheet is used to show the structure and working performance. Mainly technical sheet is: rated capacity, load distance, max lifting height, mast tilt angle, max driving speed, min. turning radius, min. ground clearance and axle distance, wheel base, etc.
Rated capacity= Q(kg): The lifting weight of a forklift truck means the maximum weight of the goods allowed to lift when the center of gravity is less than the distance from the center of the cargo fork to the center of the cargo fork, and is expressed as t (ton). When the weight of the cargo fork exceeds the required load center distance, the lifting weight should be reduced due to the vertical stability of the fork truck
Load centre distance=c(mm): The load center distance refers to the horizontal distance between the center of gravity and the vertical wall of the vertical section of the fork when the standard cargo is placed on the fork. It is expressed in mm (mm). For 1t forklifts, the required load center distance is 500mm
Maximum lifting height=h3: the maximum lifting height is the vertical distance from the surface of the horizontal section of the fork when it reaches the highest position on the flat and solid ground, when the forklift is loaded with the goods to the highest position
Mast tilt=α,β(Grad): the angle of the gantry is the maximum inclination of the forklift truck on the flat and solid ground, the forward or the backward of the gantry relative to its vertical position. The rake angle is used to fork and unload the goods, and the rear angle is to prevent the goods from slipping off the fork when the truck is running with the goods. The rake angle of general forklift is 3 degrees ~6 degrees, and the rake angle is 10 degrees to 12 degrees
Maximum lifting speed: the maximum lifting speed of a forklift truck is usually the maximum speed at which the goods are lifted at the full load of the forklift, expressed as m/min (M / min). Increase the maximum lift speed, can improve the work efficiency, the lifting speed is too fast, prone to damage and casualties. At present, the maximum lifting speed of domestic forklift has been increased to 20m/min
Maximum travelling speed: increasing the travelling speed has great influence on improving the operation efficiency of forklift. For an internal forklift truck with a lifting weight of 1t, the maximum speed is no less than 17m/min when it is loaded
Minimum turning radius=wa: when the forklift is in no load at low speed, full turn of the steering wheel, the minimum distance and the most medial to lateral body turning center, called the minimum turning radius of R-min and the minimum lateral medial turning radius rmin. The smaller the radius of the minimum lateral turn, the smaller the ground area required for the forklift and the better maneuverability
Minimum ground clearance=m: the minimum clearance is the distance from the wheel to the ground fixed to the outside of the wheel, which indicates the ability of the forklift to cross the ground bump without collision. The greater the minimum clearance is, the higher the passing capacity of the forklift
Wheelbase and tread=b: forklift wheelbase refers to the center line of the horizontal distance between the front and rear axle. Refers to the distance between left and right wheel tread the same shaft center. Increasing the wheelbase is beneficial to the longitudinal stability of the fork truck, but the length of the car body increases and the minimum turning radius increases. Increase the wheelbase has lateral stability to the forklift, but will increase the total width of the body and the minimum turning radius
The minimum width of rectangular aisle=ast: minimum width of rectangular channel refers to the minimum width of forklift trip right angles to the travel channel. Represented by mm. Generally, the smaller the width of the right angle channel, the better the performance
Minimum width of the stacking aisle: the minimum width of the stacking channel is the minimum width of the channel during the normal operation of the fork lift truck
